ABOUT NRCF
An initiative established by:
National River Care Fund (NRCF) is established to support and fund river care initiatives by the local communities, organisations and learning institutions to pursue their own river conservation activities.
NRCF operates on a cycle basis, with each cycle selecting around 6 to 9 organisations. Successful applicants receive a grant of up to RM5,000 along with guidance from GEC to carry out their initiatives.

Our goal is to build and strengthen a river care civil society in Malaysia who has the capability to contribute and demonstrate best practices in river management. We also aim to support the establishment and long-term sustainability of community-based water and river care programmes across the country.
